Heat Press & Accessories:

*This is the heat press I have. The heat press costs can vary. I purchased the heat press that has multiple attachments so I can see what type of items I like making. This also has a swing away arm and the press pad pulls out for easy alignment. A heat press is also required for screen print transfers, you cannot use an iron or cricut press.

*This is critical with any heat press you purchase. It will ensure your control panel is reading the temp of your press accurately. If your control panel is off, just adjust the temp by the # of degrees it is off. You can “blow out” colors in a screen print transfer if your heat press is too hot. Always follow the instructions from the vendor you purchase from.

*The teflon sheets protect your heat press and your screen print or htv. I attach mine to my heat press using heavy duty magnets (see link below), I also have a video on my tiktok showing my heat press and Teflon sheets attached to it.

*I use butcher paper in between shirts when using sublimation prints. But I also use it when I press a screen print after removing the backing of the screen print. It also helps protect your heat press .

*I use these to attach the Teflon sheets to my heat press. This is not required but makes it easier!

*Heat tape is critical when ensuring the screen print transfer is straight on the garment. It must be tape designed to withstand heat so it does not damage the item. They carry different sizes so this variety is perfect to see which size is best for you. The cricut brand is also good and fits on a normal tape dispenser.

*Not only is this heat dispenser cute it holds multiple rolls and cuts it for you! It also has a dispenser side where you can cut your own length tape.

*I use these when sublimating glasses or tumblers.

Silicon mug and cup clamps:

*These are helpful to keep a tight wrap when sublimating on mugs. I used this when sublimating my 12 oz frosted beer can glasses , I used mini binder clips to keep it tight

Bleaching:

Sweatshirt colors best for bleaching : “heather” colors. Black does not bleach to white. Dark heather grey will. Join the Facebook group “bleachesbecrazier” & search “swatch” in the group. You will see which brands and colors bleach to white.

*I like the glass spray bottles that have a cap. When I am not bleaching a lot, I spray out the nozzles and put the caps on the glass bottle. This helps your spray bottles last longer. Over time the bleach will ruin the nozzles.

* You can find Clorox bleach in any grocery store but it is important to note, do not buy the no splash bleach. It is too thick and will not spray correctly. I do recommend Clorox brand.
